Susan O’Gorman - Quintal Lavigueur Professional Corporation
Susan O’Gorman

Susan grew up on a dairy farm just outside of Cobden learning at a young age early mornings and hard work.  She attended St. Michael’s in Douglas and later Opeongo High School.  At Algonquin College she took the legal secretarial course and upon graduating 43 years ago was never without a job working at various law firms throughout the Valley and even a stint at the local feed store.

She returned to the farm for a few years but the City beckoned and she returned to Ottawa where she lived and work for 12 years,  Working at the prestigious law firm of Bell Baker LLP she handled real estate transactions, worked with various municipalities and school boards.  However the lure of the Valley brought her back and she now lives, once again, on the outskirts of Cobden with her husband Steven.

In her spare time you can find her in the kitchen cooking and baking. She particularly enjoys prepping the meal for her “Saturday Night at the Gilmours” where there is always a glass of wine.
